Los Angeles, CA (Nov 25, 2023) – LUSH has joined forces with Best Friends Animal Society to launch new products under the LUSH Paws Funding campaign. This initiative aims to raise funds and awareness for animal shelters, mainly to build a new lifesaving facility in San Francisco.

With a specific focus on dogs, LUSH aims to solve the pressing need for animal welfare support by utilizing its ethical business practices and widespread customer base. The partnership between LUSH and Best Friends Animal Society, a pioneer in animal rescue since 1984, demonstrates the latter's dedication to community service and animal welfare. This partnership has the potential to alter California's animal welfare environment significantly.

“Our vision at LUSH has always been about more than just quality products; it's about making a positive impact in the world," said Elisa Torres, the North American director at LUSH. "By joining forces with Best Friends Animal Society, we're not just launching a product. We're initiating a movement to elevate the standard of care for animals in need and strengthen community engagement in animal welfare.”

LUSH is collaborating with Best Friend Animal Society to launch their new Pawsitive collection, which includes a cruelty-free dog shampoo and a paw-shaped bath bomb. The collection will be found on March 17, 2024, and be sold online and in all LUSH stores in the United States. To help fund and build a new animal shelter, LUSH has promised to give Best Friends Animal Shelter 5% of every sale. Customers who spend more than $80 will also get a free bath bomb that is cruelty-free. After the product launch, there will be some online and offline fundraising events with special activities in New York City, Salt Lake City, and Los Angeles. Campaigns include the Animal Art Festival in New York City for art and pet lovers to buy and support the business, dog walking, and dog washing in Salt Lake City and Los Angeles.
